DEE LITTRELL

AN ORIGINAL BY DEE

 

Doretta "Dee" Littrell was a woman who thought
age was just a number and saw the world as one big glorious invitation. In 1969, she opened up Dee's Studio in Oregon, teaching countless kids the art of dance. She got her Masters in her forties and taught dance at high school, launching the dance, drill and cheerleading programs. At eighty, she was still water-skiing. At 87, she was still doing Zumba and traveling the world. Wearing one of her own "An Original by Dee" designs she was named a runner-up in a statewide Mrs. contest. All the way through it, she was the best dressed. impeccably.

One of our missions at LITTRELL is to engender that same "go" and "do" (and "dance") spirit among women of any number. A world - of invitations - awaits.

p.s. My grandma was 5'5" and standing on the street while Jayne Mansfield is in heels standing on the curb.
